Risks include data breaches, data theft, password attacks, and identity theft. These threats involve unauthorized access to personal or sensitive information, stealing data from devices or cloud, using leaked credentials to compromise accounts, and exploiting stolen data for fraudulent activities.
Caring for Your Digital Life
Protect your personal data (Social Security Number, address, phone number, bank details, health records, and photos); secure your Home Network (Wi-Fi), router and connected devices including smartphones, tablets, smart devices (cameras, thermostats); and protect your data stored on cloud services like Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox.
Education and Prevention
A proactive area focusing on developing best practices to avoid common threats. This includes understanding strong password hygiene, using multi-factor authentication (MFA), keeping software updated, and being cautious about what information is shared online
